About the Role

Transurban is a leader in creating city-sized solutions to solve pressing transport challenges. We're seeking a Facilities Management Director to set the strategic direction of our facilities function and drive the delivery of our workplace strategy.

This role is responsible for the Australian operations, with opportunities to influence global standards. You'll lead a highly capable team to roll out business-as-usual and longer-term processes and strategies.

We're looking for someone with experience in senior facilities management roles, ideally across multiple sites within a corporate environment. You should have sound knowledge of various codes and HSE regulations, as well as experience in overseeing complex portfolios and managing large teams of contractors.

The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize, delegate, and remain calm in a crisis. They'll also be keen to mentor, lead, and demonstrate their skills by example. A competitive salary package, including a range of benefits, will be offered to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the facilities management services function
  • Lead a team to deliver business-as-usual and longer-term processes and strategies
  • Identify areas to streamline and automate business processes
  • Represent the facilities function across the business and establish best practice standards
  • Ensure safety is always top priority through the provision of safe, clean, and operational facilities

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
