Job Title: Senior Career Development Specialist

This is a twelve-month fixed-term position with a full-time schedule, commencing as soon as possible with potential extension.

Role Overview

The North Metropolitan Education Region supports the Department's priorities in Western Australia by delivering a comprehensive standard of public education that caters to students, teachers, and parents.

The region encompasses over 250 public schools across the north metropolitan area, from Cottesloe to Lancelin and east to Wooroloo.

As the Senior Career Development Specialist, you will provide leadership, support, and advice to senior staff members in the region.

You will assist in developing and implementing strategic directions to maximize career services across the region and schools.

Additionally, you will facilitate links between schools, State Training Providers, Registered Training Organisations, Education Regional Office, and the Department to implement policy and key initiatives.

You will also support schools in developing quality and innovative secondary pathways programs, analyzing their effectiveness through evidence-based data collection.
