Job Title:

Class Allocation Technical Lead

This is a full-time, fixed term position for approximately 18 months until December 2025. The role will be based in Hobart and the successful candidate will lead an end-to-end pilot for the roll out of an innovative improvement project involving Technology One's Class Allocation module.

The Class Allocation Technical Lead will work closely with the Manager to provide technical expertise and training support throughout the pilot. Key responsibilities include planning, implementation, monitoring and control, and evaluation/close of the trial.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering complex administrative and technical functions while delivering continuous improvement and service excellence. Proven project management skills are also essential, along with high-level negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.

A key requirement for this role is the ability to work independently or within a team to deliver positive outcomes as well as achieve identified goals and objectives. Previous experience working with Technology One Student Management is highly desirable but not essential.

  • Lead and coordinate an end-to-end trial of Technology One's class allocation module including planning, implementation, monitoring and control, and evaluation/close">
  • Develop a comprehensive project schedule incorporating timelines, milestones, goal setting, and key deliverables">
  • Provide technical support and expert assistance with the Class Allocation software, process, reporting requests, prioritise and manage issues through to resolution">
  • Build efficient workflows through establishing clear, streamlined processes that promote productivity and maintain the project's momentum">
  • Monitor progress by tracking against the project plan to ensure that tasks are completed on time and project milestones are achieved">
