Job Description:

As a skilled Spray Painter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition. This is a full-time position within our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Mix and match colours for vehicles prepared for painting.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive colour library.
  • Prepare, prime and paint vehicles according to Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process.
  • Buff and denib vehicles as needed.
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.
  • Note any extra paint work required that is not quoted for.
  • Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager.
  • Clean work bays and workshop areas.
  • Coach apprentices when required.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification in Spray Painting.
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a qualified Spray Painter.
  • A strong commitment to working safely.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Be reliable, punctual & hardworking.
  • Own tools necessary to fulfil the role.
