About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team in an automotive spray-painting apprenticeship based in Dandenong South.

This full-time role involves working within a business that designs and builds a wide variety of truck bodies, service bodies, tippers and associated equipment. You will learn under a highly experienced team in a clean and modern facility.

As an apprentice, you will gain skills and knowledge to progress your Spray-Painting career while studying for Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology.

  • Preparing panel surfaces for painting is a key part of this role, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Mixing paints and matching colors accurately is also essential, as is using spray painting equipment and applying different types of paint finishes.
  • Creative expression is encouraged through the creation of special effects with paint and finishes.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, is crucial to success in this role.
