We are seeking a Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Bugari Respite Cottage in Terrey Hills. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support and care to our guests, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their stay with us.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older people and their families. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care to our guests, including personal care, medication supervision, and social support. You will also work closely with our clinical team to ensure that each guest receives the specialised care they need.
About HammondCareHammondCare is a leading provider of aged and dementia care, palliative care, rehabilitation, and mental health services for older people. We strive to embed evidence-based best practices in all our services and deliver these through Home Care, Sub-Acute Hospitals, and Residential Aged Care.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of $29.56-$32.45 per hour, plus casual loading. Other benefits include:

To be successful in this role, you will require:
- No formal qualification necessary, however, Certificate III Individual Support is an advantage
- First Aid certificate desirable
- Empathy and compassion are a must
- We provide job training as long as you have the willingness and desire to learn
- Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone
- A strong team player who can communicate professionally, complete all documentation, while maintaining confidentiality
