Effective maintenance management is crucial to the success of any organization. To this end, we are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Maintenance Supervisor to join our Canberra-based team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent maintenance skills and knowledge of various handyman trades, including building, plumbing, electrical, and plastering.

While not necessarily required to excel in all trades, the successful applicant should be confident in achieving a good standard in most of them.

Experience in trades such as Electrical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, Plumbing, Tiling, Mechanical Engineering, and Air Handling is highly regarded.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) guidelines
  • Providing exceptional customer service in a professional and courteous manner
  • Utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
  • Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with staff and members
  • Proactively identifying and resolving maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Being reliable and available for a casual position with varied hours across a 7-day week roster
