Maintenance and Facilities Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks including building, plumbing, electrical and plastering work.
  • Maintain a high standard of work quality and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or defects within the facility.
  • Develop and implement solutions to prevent future maintenance issues.
  • Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve maintenance-related queries and concerns.

This is a casual position, requiring flexibility across a 7-day week roster.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of OH&S principles and procedures.
  • Experience working in a professional environment with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • A proactive approach to identifying maintenance issues and developing solutions.
  • Reliability and flexibility to meet the demands of a 7-day roster.
