About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandise Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning department, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth through effective stock allocation and management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchandise planning, with experience in managing stock levels, allocating inventory, and working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement merchandise plans that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage stock levels across multiple product categories, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with buying teams to ensure accurate forecasting and allocation of inventory.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions and optimize stock allocation.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandise planning or a related role.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth through effective planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with ability to create complex spreadsheets and models.
