Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead our compliance efforts and ensure the highest level of safety standards across our portfolio.
About the Role

The successful candidate will provide leadership and support to our compliance team, oversee the onboarding of new vendors, conduct regular safety inspections, and monitor corrective activities to eliminate risks.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing guidance and training to the compliance team on WHS policies and procedures
  • Conducting documented safety and compliance inspections, including SWMS reviews
  • Maintaining various registers and reporting requirements of the WHS Management System
  • Coodinating emergency preparedness activities, such as first aid and fire safety compliance
  • Assisting with the development and execution of the WHS annual safety plan
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A thorough understanding of the WHS Act and Standards, including WHS management systems, policies, and procedures
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
  • Innovative and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with excellent communication, influencing, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • A Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
