Material Reconciliation Specialist

Job Overview:

The primary objective of this position is to oversee and maintain the reconciliation of client-issued materials, minimizing business exposure to a minimum.

This involves coordinating with relevant stakeholders, conducting data analysis, and ensuring accurate system reconciliations in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with stocktakes and cycle counts for Warehouse/Field as mandated by clients or internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Operations and IT teams to ensure processes and systems are ready for stocktake/cycle counts
  • Conduct data analysis to identify improvement opportunities within the consumption process through system enhancements/sub behavior
  • Support the Material Reconciliation Lead with system and Excel-based reconciliations
  • Maintain documented process/procedure manuals for all reconciliation processes
  • Analyze variances from stocktakes/cycle counts or weekly consumptions and identify leading causes
  • Be responsible for SoH reports across multiple clients
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for the Leadership Team

Required Skills:

  • Material Reconciliation or Supply Chain experience
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile complex high-volume data from multiple sources
  • Capacity to summarize and explain reconciliation outcomes to stakeholders
  • Background in Business, Finance, Logistics, Accounting, or Supply Chain
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and networking skills
