Aboriginal Healthcare Specialist

The JobWe're seeking a Senior Clinician who can facilitate collaboration between Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network services and other key service providers.
The clinician will be responsible for developing systems, processes, and services that enhance access to healthcare for Aboriginal individuals with substance dependence needs.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain effective communication channels between Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network custodial and community drug and alcohol services and other key service providers.
- Enable equitable access to healthcare services for Aboriginal people requiring treatment for substance dependence.
- Must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
- Hold formal qualifications in Social Work, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, or Clinical Nursing.
- Prior experience working collaboratively with Aboriginal patients, families, and communities is essential.
