Insurance Claims Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Claims Portfolio Manager to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to manage your own portfolio of motor claims from lodgement through to settlement, including complex and total loss matters.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for determining liability and negotiating settlements with claimants, other insurers, brokers, repairers, and assessors. You will also ensure that strong client relationships are maintained throughout the claims management process.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex portfolios of motor claims and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a customer-focused attitude.
The successful candidate will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate a proven ability to manage recoveries from third parties, third-party insurers, and other relevant parties.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Motor claims experience, preferably in commercial or domestic claims
- A proven ability to manage complex claims portfolios, from lodgement to settlement
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- A customer-focused attitude and strong relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
