Overview of the Role:

Are you enthusiastic about cultivating relationships and driving revenue? BaptistCare is on the lookout for an energetic Sales Manager for the Sydney area. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for conducting meetings, acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and leading a small team to achieve sales objectives. Your role will involve traveling to various locations throughout the week and playing a significant part in organizing and executing customer engagement events. This position is centered on the strategic expansion of Retirement Living at BaptistCare within a rapidly evolving sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales inquiries and deliver exceptional sales guidance.
  • Promote and highlight available housing options and facilities.
  • Collaborate with Community Services & Housing to optimize sales potential.
  • Meet individual and team sales goals.
  • Ensure prospective residents comprehend the financial and tenure aspects of retirement living.
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of client information.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in sales with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including experience with databases and report generation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Prior experience in managing a small team with growth potential and strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in Retirement Living, property services, or community/aged care sectors.
  • Sales experience in property or related fields.
  • Familiarity with the Retirement Living Act and Regulations.
