About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Selina as a Finance Manager, where you will play a key role in overseeing the accounting operations, managing banks and outsourced functions, and ensuring compliance with local and state reporting requirements and tax filings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounting operations, including maintaining an orderly accounting filing system and a system of controls over accounting transactions.
  • Manage banks and outsourced functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and transactions.
  • Prepare and issue monthly financial statements for the Cluster, coordinate the preparation of the corporate quarter and annual reports, and calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with local and state reporting requirements and tax filings, and coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Finance & Accounting experience in the hospitality industry.
  • High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting (accounts payable/general ledger, financial chart of accounts, etc.) and corporate procedures and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, etc.).
  • Fluent or capable of working in Spanish and English.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong work ethics, well-organized, and a self-starter.
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable, and able to follow standard filing procedures.
