About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position working 3 days a week, Tuesday to Friday, based in Sydney's CBD.

Uniting Counselling and Mediation has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services and is well-connected with Family Law stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mediation, therapeutic mediation, legally assisted mediation, and child inclusive practice to families experiencing conflict and unable to agree on parenting arrangements or property distribution.
  • Work with a dynamic team of therapists and FDRPs to support separated families.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner or eligibility to apply for accreditation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, psychology, or social work.
  • Knowledge of family law legislation, child protection issues, and community services.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and writing skills.
  • Computer literacy and ability to meet program-specific client targets.
