About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our team at Crawford & Company.
As a Senior Claims Dispute Resolution Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the fair and effective resolution of complaints related to insurance claims management. Your expertise in technical claims knowledge, policy interpretation, and dispute resolution will be instrumental in identifying root causes and determining next steps for resolving disputes.
You will work closely with claim adjusters, providing recommendations on case progression and resolution, while also supporting policyholders with their claims. Additionally, you will act as a team escalation point for complex or contentious cases, proactively managing these to resolve disputes effectively.

About You
- You possess a strong background in insurance claims management review or assessment, with at least 3 years' experience.
- Proven ability to understand and interpret insurance policies, with strong technical claims experience.
- Experience in dispute resolution and complex complaint management, including investigating issues and identifying necessary information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders.
- Draft written communication in Plain English, tailoring it to stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, enabling you to work across multiple complaints and activities simultaneously.
- Resilience and empathy, with the ability to have difficult conversations with consumers and financial firms.
- A highly responsive approach to your work, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a close and supporting team.
