Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our team at KPMG.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with clients to prepare for and resolve disputes with revenue authorities, including complex reviews and audits, objections, and tax litigation.
  • Developing and delivering written and oral advocacy and dispute resolution skills, and providing legal advice on taxation law and administrative law.
  • Collaborating with specialist groups across KPMG's Tax & Legal practice in Australia and internationally.
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • Previous experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law, and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy, preferably in a Big 4 professional services firm, a law firm, or the Australian Taxation Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and project management skills, as well as the ability to motivate and work as part of a high-performing team.
  • Strong client relations and communication skills, with the ability to develop and deepen relationships with clients.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality services to clients.
