Job Title

Achieving sales growth through strategic category management is key to our team's success.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute trade plans: Utilize commercial analysis to drive impactful trade initiatives, leveraging data insights to optimize promotional strategies and enhance supplier relationships.
  • Manage supplier partnerships: Build strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial goals and support the customer-centric category strategy.
  • Gain data-driven insights: Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform promotional and trade planning decisions, ensuring alignment with the category's unique needs.
  • Lead promotional program development: Own the end-to-end process of creating and executing promotional programs for assigned categories, including content creation and stakeholder management.
  • Support category strategy execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute pricing, promotion, range selection, and layout development for assigned categories.

This role requires a strong understanding of merchandising processes, prior experience in FMCG and/or retail environments, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. As a key contributor to our team, you will have opportunities to develop your commercial acumen, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and make a meaningful impact on our business.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Commercial acumen: Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret industry dynamics, and apply commercial knowledge to drive business outcomes.
  • FMCG and/or retail experience: Proven track record of working in fast-paced, dynamic environments and contributing to sales growth through strategic category management.
  • Merchandising knowledge: In-depth understanding of merchandising processes, including trade and promotional planning, supplier partnerships, and category strategy execution.
  • Stakeholder management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
