Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth, expand our market presence, and build strong relationships with customers.

This role requires a commercially astute and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the HDPE pipe industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base in the HDPE pipe market.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize product offerings and sales approaches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders. Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and projects.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of internal and external sales professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses. Provide insights to senior management on sales trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the HDPE pipe or related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the HDPE pipe market, products, and applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
