About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Commercial team in NSW/ACT as a Business Development Manager. This role will be responsible for growing and developing our New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory clients, with a requirement for occasional travel to client sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective and current customers to assess and understand their requirements, and align SHP solutions with these needs
  • Build awareness of the product range and brand within the local Sonic HealthPlus clinics and geographic areas
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and clients to determine pricing schedules for quotes and negotiations
  • Key account/relationship management; proactive lead generation
  • Monitor and assist with all relevant tenders and contracts
  • Management and implementation of national occupational health contracts
  • Coordinate and support Corporate and Remote Occupational Health programs

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be a results-focused, self-driven individual with a positive outlook. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven expert prospecting, selling, and negotiating skills in the occupational health or related industry, including networking and partnering
  • Effective and creative customer problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial skills to identify patterns and draw conclusions from data and correlate data with business need
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and telephone manner
  • Degree qualification in Business or other related field
  • 3 or more years of sales experience; business-to-business or healthcare experience highly regarded
  • Experience in CRM software
  • Current valid driver's license
