About the Role

This Sales Executive position at IDD Tech, a subsidiary of CIMIC Group, is a key role in driving sales growth and supporting the development of digital solutions across various industries. The successful candidate will provide vital support to the IDD Tech sales channels, serving as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the IDD Tech Executive Leadership Team in developing sales strategies and plans to drive national and international sales growth of key products.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets and technical support service levels to achieve agreed targets.
  • Attend customer meetings and serve as the main point of contact for sales or technical support inquiries.
  • Assist in the development of training videos and sales and marketing documentation to enhance customer engagement.
  • Support newly established strategic partnerships to protect and grow new channel sales.
  • Adhere to the CIMIC Group's Common Business Systems and Innovation prioritization process.
  • Support the CIMIC Group Business Systems Governance process and compliance.
  • Monitor and report performance against targets and indicators.
  • Support the execution of IDD Tech's strategic, operational, financial, and annual plans and budgets.
  • Create and support a climate that encourages innovation and receptivity to change.
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of IDD Tech Solutions, seeking ways to enhance customer experience and product stickiness.
  • Contribute to the sharing of knowledge and information within the function and with internal clients.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in IT or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role with emphasis on sales, service, and sales support activities.
Desirable Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent sales management skills.
  • Strong dedication to customer service.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with selling, supporting, and troubleshooting software products and solutions at the Enterprise level, particularly B2B.
  • Ability to research products, competitors, customers, and industry trends to produce a clear analysis of potential sales opportunities.
  • Experience in compiling and/or supporting the compilation of sales proposals, including pricing structures.
  • Familiarity with the functionality and benefits of a typical industry-standard CRM solution and the willingness to utilize a CRM to record and track sales activities.
  • Assisting the sales team in maximizing revenue via the hiring of venues for conferences, seminars, exhibitions, trade shows, and other events.
  • Capacity to learn products quickly and provide some technical level of support to new and early-stage users of IDD Tech products.
  • Ability to develop and manage product-specific sales campaigns targeting specific market segments.
  • Intermediate level of ability with all Microsoft programs.
  • Background in market research and business analytics.
  • Excellent ability to build relationships with newly onboarded and potential customers with the intention of nurturing these customers for IDD Tech's benefit.
  • Proven relationship management skills, including the ability to influence across multiple levels and across business units and divisions.
  • Ideally a solid understanding of systems and digital technology.
  • Understanding of the construction sector, although not a necessity.
  • Very strong communications skills across several stakeholders at times.
  • Comfortable with cold calling potential leads.
  • Ability to operate in a flexible environment such as an early-stage division like IDD Tech.
  • Experience in developing a library of sales and technical support tools, reference sources, and other solutions to enhance IDD Tech's customer experience and stickiness to their products.
  • Capacity to further develop specialist sales skills and willingness to implement them.
  • Ability to provide high-quality reporting.
  • Potential to lead a small team in the future, showing management skills and sound judgment.
  • A strong team player working in a small team and high-paced work environment.
  • Ability to operate solo and work remotely at times.
  • Flexible towards working with overseas business hours from time to time to achieve sales success internationally.
