At Cummins Inc., we're committed to powering your career and helping you make a meaningful impact in the world. As a Sales Executive, you'll play a critical role in driving growth and market share for our Power Generation Business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new opportunities to grow the Power Generation business, focusing on Diesel Generators and Automatic Transfer Switches.
  • Develop and execute account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within assigned sales territories, market segments, or channel partners.
  • Collaborate with Consultants, Electrical Contractors, and End Users to understand customer needs and priorities, and offer tailored Cummins solutions.
  • Understand the value chain players and sales process required to win Major Projects, utilizing your strong account planning and face-to-face meeting skills.
  • Negotiate according to company guidelines, working closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Project Management.
  • Proactively manage your sales opportunity pipeline to execute successful sales strategies and produce accurate sales forecasts.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong Electrical or Mechanical background, with a deep understanding of engines and/or electrical systems. Power Generation experience is highly desirable.
  • 5 years of previous sales experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Superior communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and develop new business.
  • Experience with account management is essential.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce will be an advantage.
