We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to lead and manage human resources operations in line with labour laws and workplace regulations. This role involves managing a team, driving employee engagement initiatives, and supporting organisational growth across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, and workforce planning.
- Ensure HR policies, practices, and documentation are compliant with relevant labour legislation and workplace regulations.
- Lead and mentor the HR team to deliver high-quality HR services and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Partner with business leaders to design and implement employee engagement strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits and travel across locations to engage with employees and support managers.
- Resolve employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Drive initiatives to improve retention, diversity, and inclusion within the organisation.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, Fair Work Act, and modern awards.
- Proven track record in managing and developing HR teams.
- Ability to travel within locations for employee and stakeholder engagements.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organisational and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in multi-site or national HR management.
- Exposure to HRIS systems and HR analytics.
- HR-related degree or postgraduate qualification.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR compliance, and the flexibility to adapt to changing organisational needs.
