Job Opportunity: Support Worker for Children with Special Needs

Angels in Australia is seeking a dedicated and experienced support worker to provide direct care and support to young children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing hands-on support and care to children with ASD level 3 and ADHD, including assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Collaborating with parents to complete administrative tasks and help manage their workload at home.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the children, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children with special needs.
  • Understanding of ASD level 3 and ADHD, as well as relevant support strategies.
  • Hold current First Aid certification, Working with Children Check, National Police Certificate, and Driver Licence.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, offering flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
  • Based in Caroline Springs area, requiring regular on-site attendance.
