Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist surgical services to patients.
- Promote patient safety and quality of care.
- Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training, health service medical practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department and other Consultants to achieve national, state, and organisational performance standards and targets.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications in general surgery.
