About the Role

A senior payroll administrator is required to join our client based on the Sunshine Coast. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in a solid team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process new employee creations, ensuring accurate ledger allocation.
  • Manage terminations, including redundancy payments calculations.
  • Erect superannuation setups and process payments in accordance with legislation.
  • Understand relative awards and their implications.
  • Process weekly timesheets, incorporating leave, allowances, commission, and associated deductions.
  • Complete end-of-month and end-of-year processing, including taxation and child support requirements.
  • Submit statistical and analytical data to department heads.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in high-volume wage processing.
  • Attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with Unipay payroll system (desired but not essential).
  • Understanding of debits, credits, and journal processing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
