Youth Mental Health Service Leader

This is a leadership position that combines strategic and hands-on responsibilities, enabling you to shape services supporting young people's mental health, physical health, sexual health, alcohol and other drug concerns, and vocational/educational wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical guidance and supervision to a multidisciplinary team delivering youth mental health services
- Oversee clinical governance, accreditation, and continuous service improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and legislative requirements
- Lead the delivery of evidence-based interventions and stepped care models
- Manage key stakeholder relationships with funding bodies, community partners, and universities
- Mentor and develop clinical staff and placement students, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth
- Act as Site Manager, ensuring safe environments and consistent incident and emergency responses
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, mental health nursing, or social work (with mental health accreditation)
- Current professional registration (AHPRA or AASW)
- Minimum 2 years experience supervising a multidisciplinary team in mental health, ideally within youth services
- Strong knowledge of mental health trends, stepped care, and service delivery models
- Skills in clinical supervision, mentoring, and workforce support
- Experience in child protection legislation and practices
- Proven ability to implement innovative solutions, manage complex challenges, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
