Job Opportunity:
Our organization is seeking an experienced professional to assume a critical role in enhancing workplace safety and sustainability.
About the Role:
- Implementing proactive measures to prevent fatalities and injuries
- Developing and implementing sustainability projects
- Improving operational systems
- Providing assistance and support to line leaders in health, safety, sustainability, return-to-work, and training initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive site improvement plans to ensure adherence to company standards and legislation
- Collaborate with site management teams to achieve shared objectives
- Work closely with a dedicated team of professionals focused on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
- Participate in and contribute to ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and expertise
- Support sites in implementing and optimizing incident management systems, including staff training and education
- Assist in updating emergency response plans, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health and safety, coupled with experience in a similar role
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
