Liebherr is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our Health, Safety and Sustainability (HSES) strategy across operations. This senior role is pivotal in shaping our safety culture, driving compliance, and delivering sustainable business outcomes.

  • Lead a team of 3–5, to drive safety strategy and operational execution.
  • Partner with divisional General Managers, internal/external customers, HSE and Sales & Marketing teams to embed strong HSE practices and ensure compliance.
  • Act as a safety expert, influencing senior leadership, engaging with regulators, and supporting commercial activities with HSE expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee national HSES strategy.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to strengthen HSE accountability and capability at all levels.
  • Lead and conduct ICAM investigations for significant incidents and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Manage certification and maintain compliance with legislation and company systems.
  • Develop and deliver training and onboarding for managers and staff.
  • Oversee audits, inspections, and management reviews, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Analyse safety data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support sales and marketing teams by embedding HSE into customer tenders and collateral.
  • Manage return-to-work programs and employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Liaise with regulators, auditors, and key external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify hazards, risks, and opportunities to continuously improve HSE performance.
