The Role – Associate Structural Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a structural engineer who is ready to step into an Associate-level role. You will balance technical excellence with leadership, client engagement and business development responsibilities.

  • Lead the design and delivery of structural solutions across commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors
  • Drive client and stakeholder engagement, develop trusted relationships and represent the business at industry forums
  • Support business development through networking, proposal preparation and repeat client work
  • Oversee project teams, mentor engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the group
  • Ensure designs, documentation and reports meet technical, quality and compliance standards
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, architects and contractors to deliver innovative and practical outcomes
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Chartered status desirable)
  • Proven technical capability across concrete, steel and timber structures
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to engage, present and influence stakeholders effectively
  • Experience in managing and delivering projects from design through to construction phase services
  • Proficiency with design software (ETABS, RAM, RAPT, SpaceGass) and familiarity with Revit
  • Excellent communication, leadership and business development acumen
  • Australian permanent residency required
