About the Opportunity

The ASC External is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Leader to oversee various aspects of the S&TO agenda, ensuring that the CSTO is across key risks and issues.

The ideal candidate will be focused on connecting work streams and maintaining a strategic perspective of the entire business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Work with the CSTO and S&TO strategy team to drive the implementation of strategic plans.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the S&TO budget, CMS progress, business improvement requests and other governance aspects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a confidant and advisor to the CSTO while keeping them accountable to KPIs.
  • Reporting and Communication: Represent the CSTO in meetings and manage monthly reporting outcomes.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional organisation-wide projects or initiatives as agreed with the CSTO.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, technology or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in defining interfaces and accountabilities across stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in working with and influencing Senior Leadership groups.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and identify key data points.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
