Key Role: Quality Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role that focuses on ensuring the quality of products within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day quality activities, overseeing product control, and ensuring timely reporting of incidents.

Key responsibilities include conducting internal audits, documenting findings, and driving corrective actions to uphold site standards. You will also deliver training sessions, toolbox talks, and informal coaching to build quality awareness across teams.

Additionally, you will support record-keeping and compliance reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through involvement in QA and site-wide projects.

About the Job

This role requires a strong technical background and a passion for food safety. You will thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy being a visible, approachable presence on the production floor.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in food science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field
  • 3-4 years' experience in a QA role within food manufacturing or a regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Quality Management Systems
  • Skills in auditing, problem-solving, and root cause analysis
  • A decisive mindset with excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A valid Driver's License
