Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Professional to lead our Market Risk Management team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, risk management, and leadership.

This role is responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies, leading the team in daily P&L production and analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks.

You will be working closely with the Global Markets business, Risk Management, and other IB&M Finance areas globally.

We require a strong understanding of traded market risk products, including complex derivatives, and proven leadership experience with an inclusive and outcome-driven style.

Demonstrated success in delivering systems/process uplift and automation using VBA, SQL, Tableau Prep, PowerBI, Alteryx, or other analytical and automation tools is essential.

A deep knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks is necessary for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily and monthly P&L reporting and reconciliation for Commodities & Carbon desks
  • Develop relationships with Front Office and other stakeholder areas, such as Risk and Operations
  • Investigate and resolve trade, position, and cash exceptions in partnership with trading desks, finance, and risk teams
  • Drive system and process enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Provide strategic input into new product initiatives, including carbon markets and electricity expansion
