Market Risk Analyst Job Opportunity

The role of a market risk analyst involves the analysis and reporting of market risk, performance, and mandate monitoring for investment portfolios. This position requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely reports are provided to internal clients, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have experience in investment reporting and analysis, advanced Excel skills, knowledge of financial instrument risk modelling, and familiarity with financial reporting and/or modelling. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Regularly reporting on market risk and performance for investment portfolios
  • Providing analysis of exposures and changes
  • Maintaining data integrity of risk and performance systems
  • Supporting other risk and performance team members
  • Participating in project and transition work as required

For this role, we are seeking an individual with tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in finance or a related discipline, ideally with 3-5 years' experience in investment reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate should have a high level of attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
