Key roles and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a temporary full time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of payroll and the administration of applicable payroll and systems in accordance with legislative requirements.

The role involves:

  • Timely and accurate processing of the fortnightly payroll for all staff in accordance with current awards, contracts and company policies and procedures
  • Responding to and resolving payroll enquiries in an accurate, courteous, confidential and timely manner
  • Coding of timesheets, processing and filing of fortnightly payroll
  • Calculate and process payroll adjustments and manual payments
  • Process monthly Superannuation

Prioritised Tasks:

Processing payroll; Maintaining employee records/personnel files on payroll related matters

About the Role

This is an opportunity to contribute your skills and experience to a busy team environment. We are looking for someone who can bring a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to this position.

Award-winning candidates will have previous experience in high-volume payroll positions using large ERP systems, demonstrated ability to correctly read and understand modern awards, proven analytical skills, and well-developed communication and negotiation skills.
