Family Violence Case Manager

The Salvation Army Family Violence Services NT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Violence Case Manager/Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our case management team, you will provide critical support to families experiencing domestic and family violence, including crisis accommodation, outreach, and counseling.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, promoting self-determination and participation in accordance with the National Family Violence Model of Care.
- Provide specialist family violence case management and crisis support to clients, adhering to TSA case management models and standards of practice.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of client needs and circumstances, from initial intake to exit.
- Develop and implement individual case plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique needs and goals.
- Assist clients in accessing holistic support services, promoting a comprehensive approach to addressing family violence.
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work is essential.
- Experience working in the family violence sector is desirable.
- Experience in specialist family violence and/or child wellbeing work is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated case management experience and skills.
- Highly developed time management and work prioritization skills, with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Advanced computer skills, including experience in data and record management.
- Ability and willingness to be on call.
- Relevant child protection requirements, such as an Ochre Card.
- NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax-free) plus meals and entertainment benefit ($2,650).
