Your Role

Influence the strategic development and profitable growth of the Financial Lines portfolios, providing support to the D&O, PI, FI, Cyber, and Management Liability lines of business across Australia and New Zealand.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead portfolio reviews, enhancing the monitoring framework sophistication.
  • Perform pricing projects and develop rating algorithms for key portfolios and new digital products.
  • Pricing and performance reviews for key scheme and portfolio opportunities.
  • Provide high-quality actuarial advice to the Financial Lines Product team.
  • Presentation to internal stakeholders, including senior management, front-line business, both locally and overseas, to help formulate business strategy.
  • Promote innovation through process improvement and automation.
  • Guide and mentor actuarial analysts on projects and tasks, providing feedback and support for their development.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years work experience in Accounting.
  • Qualified actuary with 5-8 years of experience in general insurance.
  • Strong business knowledge and communication capabilities.
  • Solid foundation in applying advanced statistical and data mining techniques to solving business problems.
  • Ability to manage competing projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with SQL, Python or R; EMBLEM, RADAR highly desirable.
