Job Summary

The Marketing Officer position is a key role in the Global Brand and Marketing Directorate, responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of advertising and marketing materials across CQUniversity.

  • This role is based in CQUniversity Cairns, Rockhampton, Bundaberg or Mackay, with flexible working arrangements excluding SEQ region.
  • The successful candidate will work as a Higher Education Worker Level 5.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing engaging advertising and marketing materials that align with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop helpful resources, ensuring timely service with a focus on quality and collaboration.
  • Reviewing requests, providing marketing advice, writing and editing content, and ensuring creative output meets brand standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • An Associate Diploma in marketing, communications or a related field with at least two years of relevant experience, including advertising and production, marketing campaigns, copywriting and project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate, and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in business software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn new systems.
  • A current Class C driver's licence and willingness to travel or work outside standard hours when required.
