Job Role: Employment Consultant

As an Employment Consultant, you will use your skills to support and guide clients to attain suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders as part of managing the referral & intake process of job seekers into their chosen program
  • A comprehensive assessment of job seeker skills, abilities, identification of barriers and intervention strategies
  • In consultation with our job seekers, develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers) and employment support activities
  • Effective reverse marketing of job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities
  • Provision of pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You are self-driven, resilient, hungry to succeed & experienced in Customer Service. You love a challenge, dynamic pace and have the ability to move agilely through your to-do list. Experience within the Employment Services sector is advantageous, however not essential as we have a strong induction and support network to help you succeed.
