About the Role

You'll be working with individuals facing health challenges to find new employment opportunities and support them in returning to meaningful and sustainable work to live their best life.

This role will involve servicing a caseload across our East and South East Melbourne region.

Duties
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and internal teams to provide safe and sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce.
  • Contribute to injured workers' ability to achieve return-to-work goals through job skills development, confidence building, and promoting independence.
  • Apply and deliver exceptional customer service in employment services and job placement.
  • Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment.
  • Broker new employment opportunities in the Melbourne Metropolitan area and surrounds.
  • Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations.
  • Complete written progress reports on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Experience in occupational and/or vocational rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in employment services or disability employment as a high performer.
  • Strong resume writing skills with an understanding of local labour markets.
  • A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers.
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers.
  • A current driver's license and motor vehicle.
