Job Title: General Manager

The position of General Manager is a senior leadership role that will lead the Residential Parks and Communities sector in Victoria. As a champion for this industry, you will drive policy agendas, represent the sector's interests, build strategic alliances, and maintain strong relationships with members and stakeholders.

  • Drive implementation of priority policies to improve sector outcomes.
  • Represent the industry in meetings with government officials and policymakers.
  • Build strategic alliances with other housing and development organizations.
  • Raise membership levels through clear communication of value and industry benefits.
  • Identify and respond to regulatory, planning, and housing reform proposals that impact members.
  • Lead preparation of government submissions, briefing papers, and position statements.
  • Contribute to media engagement and crisis communications planning as needed.
  • Maintain an issues register and provide advice on emerging risks or opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have a background in planning, housing, property, government relations, public policy, or a related advocacy field.
