Residential Services Director

We are a highly regarded not-for-profit organization that offers residential, community and in-home aged care for older people living in the Eastern region.

  • Full-time, permanent position based at Doncaster.
  • Oversee two co-located residential aged care facilities with 150 beds, including a 30-bed Memory Support Unit.
  • Attractive executive salary package, including salary packaging up to $15,900 and meal card up to $2,650.

About the Role

Seeking an experienced leader to provide strategic and operational direction for both facilities. Directly manage two Clinical Care Managers, ensuring they deliver safe, high-quality person-centered care.

As part of the Executive Team, contribute to shaping the organization's culture, strategy, and long-term success. Have direct exposure to the Board and play a pivotal role in organizational reform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resident-centered care: Ensure services meet the highest standards of safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
  • Leadership and culture: Inspire, support, and empower Clinical Care Managers and their teams, fostering accountability and a positive workplace culture.
  • Performance and compliance: Oversee quality standards, clinical governance, and Aged Care Quality Standards compliance.
  • Operational excellence: Ensure smooth daily operations across both facilities, including the Memory Support Unit.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification (AHPRA) - mandatory.
  • Business, management or related tertiary qualification - desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in senior leadership within residential aged care services, preferably across multiple sites.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic growth and sustainability, including identifying and implementing efficiency improvements and developing alternative revenue streams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the capacity to balance financial performance with exceptional resident care outcomes.
