Member Support Consultant Role
The Member Support Consultant plays an essential role in building and maintaining a thriving Goodlife Health Club membership base. You will be responsible for helping thousands of people become faster, fitter, stronger, and happier versions of themselves.
This varied role has two clear goals – achieving membership growth targets through proactive sales activities and retaining existing members through exceptional customer service. As a Member Support Consultant, you will be an expert in all things Goodlife, seamlessly swapping between sales and lead generation, providing top-notch service at the reception desk, and proactively communicating with current members to enhance their club experience and drive positive member retention.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to club sales budget by utilizing sales promotions and referrals campaigns
- Generate and convert high-quality sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals, and identifying new business opportunities
- Achieve the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members
- Create outstanding member journeys via positive and personalized interactions
- Achieve successful outcomes to enquiries
- Open and close the club as per the club roster
- Active involvement in member retention programs, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey
- Regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged in their journey, recommending club-based products that would boost their results and amplify their experience
About You
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- A valid Working with Children Check
- The ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds with a desire to help others achieve their goals
- The ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles
- Outstanding communication abilities – listening, understanding, empathizing, and influencing others
- Tenacity with a natural drive to achieve individual targets and team goals
- Customer-focused with a desire to achieve exceptional customer outcomes
