Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Service Officer to join our team at GenesisCare. As a Patient Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, both face-to-face and over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
- Manage patient appointments and bookings
- Process patient billing and receipting
- Accurately process relevant paperwork, including data entry
- Ensure the smooth running of the clinic
- Continuously liaise with the team to ensure efficient processes
- Manage patient records and filing of patient notes

Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience to work successfully both independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms would be highly valued
- Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Flexible approach to work and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
