We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team. As a Cook, you will play an integral part in crafting healthy menus for children of all ages.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have access to a national network of centre cooks who share recipes, ideas and tips, ensuring continuous improvement in menu planning and execution.
Your Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of children, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Bulk Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook meals in large quantities, maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.
- Catering for Individual Needs: Accommodate children with specific dietary requirements, including allergies and special needs.
- Food Safety Certification: Hold a current Food Safety and Handlers Certificate.
- Culinary Qualifications: Possess a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (desired).
- Early Childhood Experience: Have experience working in an early childhood setting.
- Reliable Transport: Be able to reliably transport yourself to and from the centre.
