We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team.
About the Role- Create healthy menus for children of all ages, taking into account their nutritional needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share recipes and ideas, ensuring a diverse and engaging culinary experience.
- Develop and implement menu plans that meet nutritional standards, utilizing local ingredients and seasonal produce when possible.
- Bulk meal preparation, online ordering, inventory management, and budget control.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Accommodate individual child requirements, including allergies and dietary needs, by providing alternative options.
- Current Food Safety Certification.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working in an early childhood setting, preferably in a kitchen environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- First aid certification and resuscitation skills.
