We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice Cook.

As an Apprentice Cook, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, functions, and buffets.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for cooking and a keen desire to learn and grow within the culinary field. They will also have basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, functions, and buffets.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment.
  • Learn and apply various cooking techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs.
  • Participate in daily kitchen operations.
Requirements:
  • Genuine passion for cooking and a keen desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen setting.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work across a rotating 7-day roster.
