Casual Cook Position

As a key member of our culinary team, you'll contribute to the growth and prosperity of our community through your passion for cooking and commitment to excellence.

We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in the culinary arts, who can maintain composure during busy periods and ensure food quality meets high standards.

The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean and organised work environment, while also demonstrating a strong work ethic and positive attitude towards learning and development.

  • Prepare mise en place to guarantee smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all work areas
  • Adhere to stock rotation procedures to ensure freshness and reduce waste
  • Support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure timely service
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues to the Executive Chef
  • Receive, unpack, and store deliveries in line with food safety standards
  • Follow food safety protocols to meet legal requirements
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock checks and ordering
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Participate in kitchen briefings and contribute to continuous operational improvements
