Event Sales Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue through events and delivering exceptional experiences for clients.

This role is responsible for securing catering and event business through proactive outreach, networking, and responding to inquiries. You will develop and finalize event proposals, negotiate terms, and prepare contracts to meet or exceed revenue goals.

You will also recommend additional services to boost event spend and align with luxury service standards. As the main point of contact for clients, you will ensure high levels of client satisfaction and build long-term relationships and repeat business.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a hotel meetings and events setting and demonstrated effective planning and executing high-profile events. They will possess creativity and innovation to provide unique and memorable event experiences for clients, good business acumen and knowledge of market trends, and excellent negotiation, communication, flexible, creative, and problem-solving skills.

Tertiary studies in event management, hospitality management, or a related field are required, along with fluency in English language and impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene. The successful candidate must also have full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
